A FIZZ FOR EVERY FEELING
I’ve recently run into a conversation loop with visiting friends where they apologize to me for not enjoying bubbly drinks. Whether I’m offering canned seltzer, Champagne or a spritz, it seems as though nobody can burst the bubble’s hold on drinks of the moment. It’s so powerful in fact that people who are not taken by the charm of effervescence might feel ashamed by their (what could now be perceived as uncouth) preferences. And while cultural trends come and go, the surging popularity of fizzy drinks seems to be here to stay.
