In past letters, I’ve shared how I use my “shop notebook” to sketch project ideas, create drawings, and record the items I make each year. Lately, I came across a metric that reveals another dimension of my woodworking journey. Let’s call it the “router table principle.” I’ve had a router table in my shop for more than 20 years.
