Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, there’s no denying that autumn is a season of bounty. And harvesting all that fresh produce is the impetus for a lot of braising, batch cooking, baking, simmering, preserving and roasting. And that, in turn, inspires us to share all that culinary goodness with our loved ones. And that, dear readers, spells comfort.
